This course introduces the Care Certificate and helps learners understand their role within a care setting. It explains key responsibilities, professional standards, and how care workers are expected to work safely and effectively as part of a wider team.

Learners will explore agreed ways of working, including policies, procedures, and codes of conduct, and understand why following them is essential. The course also covers accountability, duty of care, and knowing when and how to seek guidance or raise concerns.
